Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Health and Social Services Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering quality care services, coordinating with a team of carers, and ensuring that clients’ needs are met to the highest standard. This is a hands-on managerial role that requires both caregiving expertise and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of daily care services, ensuring high-quality, person-centered support for all clients.
  • Lead and support a team of carers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Manage care plans for clients, including assessments, goal-setting, and reviews, to promote their independence and well-being.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, social services, and families to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Monitor client health and well-being, addressing any concerns promptly and adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organizational policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of care services, implementing best practices and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent (NVQ Level 4 or management qualification preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a health or social care role, with at least 1 year in a managerial or supervisory position.
  • Strong understanding of health and social care regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a compassionate and supportive approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with clients and families.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in care documentation.
