Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Health and Social Services Director to lead and direct our care services. In this senior role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of health and social care services, overseeing a dedicated team of carers, and ensuring that client needs are met with the highest standards of care. This is a strategic position that combines leadership and hands-on care responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the delivery of comprehensive health and social care services, ensuring high-quality and person-centered care.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of carers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Design and implement effective care strategies and programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, families, and community partners to ensure integrated and holistic support.
- Oversee regulatory compliance and ensure all care services meet or exceed health, safety, and care standards.
- Monitor and evaluate service performance, implementing improvements to enhance care quality and efficiency.
- Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Prepare reports for senior leadership, detailing program outcomes, client satisfaction, and areas for service development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a health or social care setting, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of health and social care regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to client care.
- Ability to develop and implement effective care strategies and manage resources efficiently.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community stakeholders.
